Referral Services and Workshops
On an average, the NFRWC assists 1000 people a year, providing resources and referrals for everything from domestic violence to health care. Through education, we want to help people find cures for, as well as prevent, serious illness. Currently, we run regularly scheduled yoga classes, writing workshops, computer classes, and "Heard Through the Grapevine" lectures to help our local community to help themselves. We also have the “Good Stuff Thrift Shop” located at 1395 Main Street in Riverhead, New York. We accept all donations at this site, Boats, Cars, Furniture, Household Items and General keep- sakes. We welcome all to come in and shop around for treasures that you can take home for a small price. We are a 501(c) (3) organization so all donations are deductible and every item purchased goes towards or programs listed below.
