The Voucher Program
The North Fork Women's Resource Center
has joined forces with Greenport Healthcare soon to be renamed "Nightingale
Health". In 1997 approximately 43.4 million Americans were without health
care insurance. Our mission is to provide the uninsured residents of
Eastern Long Island with accessible health care. Services include cancer
screening, full G.Y.N. exams, prevention workshops and referrals. Money raised
by the NFWRC will fund payment for these services through a voucher program.
