The "C.O.O.L."
Project
We start in our community with the
young. The "C.O.O.L." Project, Choice Opens Our Lives, is a
free after school program that addresses Social, Emotional and Developmental
issues critical to the growth of healthy, informed, self-confident girls. The
main objective is to empower girls by developing leadership skills and enhancing
self confidence. The "C.O.O.L." Project recognizes that healthy
self-esteem can improve academic standards as well as deter high-risk behavior,
such as substance abuse and early sexual activity.
